Unveiling of the first science images from the James Webb Space Telescope

On July 12, NASA, in partnership with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and the European Space Agency, will release the James Webb Space Telescope’s first full-colour science images and spectroscopic data during a televised broadcast.
The official release of images and data will showcase Webb’s full science capabilities, including those of Webb’s Canadian instrument, NIRISS.
The James Webb Space Telescope will be the most important space observatory of the next decade, serving astronomers from all over the world.
It is an international collaboration between NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
