First Korean mural unveils in Korea Town

On Korean Thanksgiving Day, a very special event took place in Korea town in Toronto downtown.
The ceremony of unveiling Korean mural was held at PAT Central on Friday, September 13, 2019.
It is the first mural that the Korea Town has in Ontario. The mural painting is displayed on the wall of PAT Central.
The mural has 18 symbolic pictures, featuring Korea’s historical heritage or culture, including King Sejong the Great, Seoul N Tower, Namdamun Gate, Pheasant, Taekwondo and chomseondae.
Korea Tourism Organization in Toronto launched the work last year, which was initiated by Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto.
