  • Joint Security Area,
  • Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island,
  • DONGJU: The Portrait of a Poet.

On July 5, there was  a reception with V.I.P. and followed by opening ceremony.

The opening film was Mal Mo E: The Secret Mission, which is historical drama, set in the 1940’s when Korea was under Japanese occupation when Korean people were banned from speaking their own language during that time.

The Korean Film Festival is held annually to provide audiences with a unique opportunity to experience and enjoy authentic Korean cinema here in Toronto.
