*GLOBAL KOREAN POST (aka: GLOBAL KOREAN) is a reliable and independent Canadian newspaper based in Toronto, Ontario of Canada. We are committed to pursuing a future oriented and values with different depths as well. We have focused mainly on the Canadian news since the beginning and also we have aimed at delivering good news and useful information through our creative and unique contents for Korean-Canadian, Canadian, Global Korean and the world. **Who We Are**
미래를 여는 신문. 깊이가 다른 최상 신문 “Global Korean Post”(일명 “글로벌 코리언” 또는 “글로벌 코리안”)는 캐나다 토론토에 기반한 독립적이고 독자적인 인터넷 신문입니다.
‘글로벌 코리언’은 글로벌 시대에 살고 있는 우리들의 현 시대를 반영하면서 한인 네트워크의 구축.형성과 한인들의 역량을 발휘하는 데 조금이나마 도움이 되고 한인사회의 발전에도 일조하는데 목적을 두고 있습니다.
발족 후, 한인 미디어로서는 처음으로 연방 정부와 온타리오 정부 등 캐나다 주요 소식을 현장 취재해 전달하고 또한 주요 내용을 직접 보도하기 시작했습니다.
캐나다의 주요 소식을 직접 취재.작성.번역해 전달하는 가운데 주요 뉴스 및 각종 정보 관련 기사도 직접 작성해 제공하면서 한인들의 캐나다 생활에 실질적인 도움과 이해를 드리고자 노력해 왔습니다.
또 한국과의 가교 역할에도 보탬이 되는 신문을 만들고자 부단한 노력을 기울이며 보다 가치가 있는 기사를 전달하고자 정진해 왔고 또 앞으로 나아가고 있습니다.
사실, 본보 발행에 앞서 수년간의 조사와 숙고 끝에 2014년 2월에 도메인 등록을 하였고 사이트 개발과 테스트를 거쳐 2015년 5월에 본보의 첫 사이트를 선보이게 되었습니다.
당시에는 모바일과 연계된 디지털 신문이 거의 전무했던 시기였지만, 본보 사이트(https://globalkorean.ca)는 언제 어디서든 편리하게 또 한국에서도 캐나다 소식을 볼 수 있도록 제작되었습니다.
본보는 지금까지 독자들에게 보다 편리하고 가치적인 기사를 전달하고자 사이트 향상을 위한 개편 속에 내용 개선을 위한 노력도 꾸준히 이어가고 있습니다.
‘글로벌 코리언’은 미래의 비전을 향하여 한인의 긍지를 가지고 캐나다 사회에서 발전할 수 있는 좋은 신문을 만들도록 지속적으로 노력하고자 합니다.

The GLOBAL KOREAN POST (aka: GLOBAL KOREAN) is an independent and reliable online newspaper founded in Toronto, Canada, in order to provide people with valuable news and information.
We have committed to developing and improving this website and content since February in 2014, when the domains were registered following enough consideration over years.
At a time when there were few mobile-friendly online newspapers, our website was designed to be conveniently accessible by any type of computer device including mobile phone, so readers can access our web newspaper- anytime, anywhere and even in Korea.
Finally, we launched the website “Global Korean Post (https://globalkorean.ca)” in May of 2015 through all kinds of our efforts. Therefore, our actual history can be extended longer if included our researches, preparation and etc.
We primarily have focused on the Canadian news since the beginning, while delivering the useful information through our creative and unique contents. We have directly and professionally translated English contents into Korean language for the sake of providing an understanding of Canadian life to Korean readers.
Our priority is to deliver good news along with useful information and to respect our customers and readers. We keep trying to strives for making a good newspaper not only aiming to create a future oriented and values with different depths, but also moving forward to contribute in Canadian society toward a bright future vision with pride as Korean-Canadian.
We have continuously committed to improve news content and to enhance our website in order to provide more convenient and valuable news. We also strive to serve to be a bridge between Korea and Canada as we are committing to deliver valuable information.
