North Korean defectors are asking Canada governments for their staying in Canada.
About 300 North Korean defectors who have misrepresented their applications for immigration are on the verge of deporting.
Global Korean Post attended a press conference held in Toronto, where not only Korean members and North Korean defetors, but also Minister Laura Albanese, Minister David Zimmer, MPP Raymond Cho, and MP Ali Ehsassi were joined to listen to defectors’ evidence.
They said that if deported, it can be a factor of another ‘death’ for their family members remained in North Korea.
They also said that the reasons of their misrepresentation were just to save their lives.
